Model Driven Architecture is the approach which is actively researched nowadays. One of the existing problems is transformations between models of Model Driven Architecture. This paper discusses on of these transformations – transformation to Platform Independent Model ready for preparing of Platform Specific Model. For the realizing of this transformation two-hemisphere model driven approach to system modeling is chosen. As transformation result the class diagram in UML notation is defined. The paper discusses the transformation into class diagram, and the possibility of automation of this transformation. To research automation possibilities was constructed tool, which generates class diagram based on discussed transformations. This tool was applied on three examples with different notation of representation of initial model and different problem areas. These experiments proofs that discussed transformations are independent from problem area and notations of initial knowledge.
