The scientific monograph is devoted to the sustainable use of all types of resources used by fish processing companies. It summarizes research results, which enables every Latvian fish processing company to obtain the newest and scientifically-based information on development opportunities in the industry. The monograph widely describes possibilities of data collection and processing, evaluation of the obtained results, methods of analysis and application of the results of various offers. In addition, it gives examples of technological innovations in fish processing already implemented by the world, European and Latvian companies. The importance of the efficiency measures is highlighted in the monograph, their identification and ranking, based on the principles and conditions of sustainable development. The described ways of use of various decision-making methodologies are based on engineering, economic, socio-economic, environmental and climate aspects. At the end of the monograph, the authors offer a solution for the innovative sustainable development of a fish processing company, creating an industrial symbiosis with aquaculture elements. The monograph is intended for specialists of fish processing companies, scientists, students, employees of other economic sectors, as well as employees of state and non-governmental institutions.
