There is mentioned that the scanning of human body as method for gaining of human measurements has several preferences. Gaining of data is possible in very short time. In comparison with manual measuring methods, scanning gets larger amount of measurements. There are several modes to gain human body measurements by scanning system: laser scanning, light beam scanning, etc. There is searched laser beam reflection capability of different textile material in the research. The description of laser reflection is compared with Lambert’s law’s characteristic. The matrix of material selection is made in process of experiment planning, all possible materials is presented in this matrix. Eight textile materials are chosen for experimental work: six lingerie and two additional materials. Laser beam with angle of incidence 0º and 45º is used to make an experiment. Result dependence of laser beam length is compared also. As a conclusion of the paper the lingerie materials suitable for anthropometrical scanning are selected and the materials inapplicable for scanning is found – those materials impact scanning result negative.
