Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is an autologous material derived from a person’s own blood, which is used to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration. Clindamycin phosphate (CLP) is a semi-synthetic bacteriostatic lincomycin derivative with activity against anaerobic bacteria. Combination of PRF and CLP may enhance their antibacterial properties. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of PRF on the antibacterial efficacy of clindamycin phosphate against Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis.
