The Doctoral Thesis has studied the characteristics of knowledge transfer, the development trends of learning analytics. Methods of promoting student involvement were developed and practical experiments were conducted to find methods for evaluating the characteristics of knowledge transfer, student involvement in the learning process, and the quality of the offered course content. The KAM method and the knowledge acquisition surface allow the tutor to understand the progress and involvement of online course students in acquiring knowledge, as well as indicate gaps in the course content, thus creating opportunities to improve the learning process.
