In today's society, digital technology plays an important role. Digital technologies have critical impact on the society which influences the sustainability of the technology. These impacts are affected by uncertainty factors of technologies which are mostly hidden. The purpose of this article is to identify the hidden and latent factors influencing core digital technologies. The results will allow to technology and sustainability researchers and project managers to focus on most important influencing factors in assessing the sustainability development of digital technologies.
