Due to the impact of Covid-19, some companies found themselves in difficulties or even in debt, but huge tax debts were already there before that. They were mainly created by unscrupulous operators who avoided paying taxes. In this episode, associate professor Māras Juruš and assistant professor Justīna Hudenko discuss the research of Baiba Mažeikas, a student of the Customs and Tax Administration program at Riga Technical University, on how tax debts could be reduced in the future.
