One of the most challenging climate goals the European Commission sets is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the transport sector by 90 percent by 2050. Ambitious goals have also been set for 2030. The situation is different in different countries, therefore, each EU country is left with the right to carry out the greening of transport at its own discretion. However, the essence of the task is clear - the fuel obtained from fossil raw materials must be replaced with renewable energy resources. These alternative fuels would include biofuels, biomethane, electricity and hydrogen. It is important to effectively use the advantages of these fuels for the greening of transport.
