The article was written as interior review for today’s history of doors’ design in the world and together it also looks at the situation in Latvia. While visiting the experience of Latvia in development of doors, the authors of article turn our attention to both historic material, and the achievements of the last 5 years. The balance of projects and realization have to be supported on the aspect of the world’s global achievements, inheritance of experience, the integration of Latvian society in forming doors’ image and introducing of new creative ideas in town planning development of republic’s regions, ways immortalization . During the course of performance of the research there are fixed and analyzed also employees’ emotional associations caused by historical environment.
