Investigation of Electrochemical Characteristics of Ion-Plasmous Coatings

The paper deals with the electrode potential investigation of different ion-plasmous coatings including conglomerate ones on the basis of „titanium-nitrogen” system. As a result it was determinated that it is possible to create both anodic and cathodic compositions for the whole range of materials which are often applied in machine building. It makes it possible to control the electrochemical properties of coatings as well as of the whole „coating-base” systems without any essential degradation on their mechanical characteristics.
