The Thesis summarizes the most important studies and information on the history of development and application of adhesives and sealants in various industries. Synthesis methods, rheological, mechanical and adhesive properties of various silyl-terminated prepolymers and epoxy resins are described, as well as application possibilities in various industries. In the experimental part of the work, model systems of two-component compositions containing silyl-terminated prepolymers and epoxy resins were created and studied, which were formed by mixtures of polymers, catalysts and compatibilizers, as well as real systems, which additionally contained plasticizers, fillers and other additives (drying agent, adhesion promoter). The obtained results showed that by using an effective system of compatibilizers, the tensile strength can be increased up to 300 %, and in the course of the research, a new knowledge base was obtained about the most effective catalysts in silyl-terminated prepolymer and epoxy resin systems. A silyl-terminated prepolymer/epoxy resin two-component system product of industrial significance and volume was created and its mechanical, rheological, adhesive properties, as well as durability, were characterized.
