The aim of the Doctoral Thesis is to propose new modelling methods, simulation tools and innovative approaches for the selection and evaluation of decentralized power supply solutions and their performance optimisation (improvement) under changing operating conditions. Detailed mathematical descriptions and specialized algorithms were developed to evaluate the technical and economic aspects of various technologies, aiming to enhance their performance under different conditions. The goal was to make them better in different situations and speed up the switch to cleaner energy.
