Tandem 1,2-silyl shift – Friedel–Crafts Synthetic Approach to Substituted Vinyl Chromanes

In this work we report a new synthetic route to substituted 4-vinyl chromanes, where the key synthetic step involves tandem 1,2-silyl shift – Friedel–Crafts cyclization of propargyl silanes and their haloalkyne derivates.
