The performance of design of inductors with ferrite cores is also dependent on the accuracy of assumed data about magnetic properties of cores. For toroidal cores it is shown that the magnetic spectra of ferrites and cores, manufactured from the ferrites, may differ essentially if cores cross-section dimensions are greater than the penetration depth of magnetic field. It is ascertained that relation derived for rod cores may be used for determination of the magnetic spectra of toroidal cores with the dimensions wanted.
