Temperature sensing technology has undergone significant advancements in recent years, leading to the development of modern temperature sensors with enhanced accuracy, reliability, and versatility. Temperature measurement plays a crucial role in the functionality and automation of smart homes. The measurements are performed in numerous sectors, including the industrial, automotive, medical, and environmental monitoring. It emphasizes the critical role of temperature sensors in ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency in diverse systems. A lot of companies provide solutions for such an automatization and express their interest in making their houses more intelligent. In this paper, we want to show an example of different temperature sensors based on Arduino micro-controller and compare them. This information may be useful to some people who need to make a choice between different commercially available solutions based on smart microcontrollers for the best optimization and performance. This may also prove to be interesting in terms of temperature sensors programming and assembling aspects.
