Li-ion batteries are widely used in different types of energy storage systems as well as in the automotive industry. This paper studies possibility of using impedance spectroscopy for analyzing battery's state of health. In this work, the impedance characteristics of Li-ion and LTO batteries are compared. The comparisons are made for cells with different state of charge (SOC). Characteristics for series and parallel connected cells of a battery energy storage system are obtained.
