On March 21, 2024, the first “Energy Day” was held in Rēzekne, bringing together representatives of various fields to promote public understanding of energy efficiency and sustainable use of resources. The event included educational activities, discussions and games that encouraged residents to think about energy saving and environmentally friendly solutions. Digital tools were also presented that help model energy communities and make data-based decisions. The event marks the commitment of the Rēzekne municipality to develop energy management and involve the public in promoting energy efficiency.
