This paper describes the first implementation of Altera's FPGA-based CRAIMOT domain spectrum analyzer. The basics of CRAIMOT spectrum analysis are given. Some examples of shapes of basis function(s) (BF) and spectrum are presented. The core of spectrum analyzer is a serial generator of CRAIMOT BFs that generates each value as a product of powers of sine and cosine values for a given set of rotation angles (parameters). The CRAIMOT spectrum analyzer is implemented as Altera’s Cyclone FPGA. A simplified block diagram and parameters of the analyzer are provided. CRAIMOT spectrum express analysis of speech is aimed to be the first application of the analyzer.
