The project Pumpurs added an SMS communications protocol to support m-learning in
some key areas. The system provides for interactivities among student peers as well as with
the instructor. It also incorporates an ongoing quiz feature that may be used by the students
for self-evaluation and by the instructor to test students.
The presentation also examines SMS options of sending questions over the system as well as
methods for optimal concept identification for key-word development. The conclusion
analyzes the potential for students to utilize m-learning together with their e-portfolios.
