Termina precīzā nozīme, tas pareizais un teksta saturam atbilstošs lietojums ir no konteksta atkarīgie mainīgie faktori, kurus lielā mērā nosaka tekstuālā vide. Šīs analīzes mērķis ir noteikt Bogranda un Dreslera formulēto tekstualitātes standartu empīrisko lietojumu tulkošanas nolūkos vides aizsardzības tekstos, lai palīdzētu tulkam/tulkotājam izvairīties no problēmām, kas saistās ar terminoloģijas tulkošanu.
