IT “Ecosystem” for the Continuing Education

Human knowledge and skill acquisition, evaluation, as well as determination of adequacy for a particular task have always been complicated and time-consuming process. Turbulent information and knowledge circulation in society as well as fast information technology (IT) development add new requirement for the continuing education. Multiple solutions, both methodical and technological, have been developed over time to address this problem. This paper reflects the applying “ecosystem” principles in continuing education course development and delivery. The aim of reflected approach is to support continuing education process according to the learning situation, learner needs and available technology in particular time and place.
