Nowadays, one of the leading technologies is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). RFID is an automatic identification method, which relies on storing and remote data retrieving with the use of such devices as RFID tags. This technology assumes the embedding RFID tags in any device. This approach gives a variety of architectural solutions. In this document some aspects of RFID technology on the example of monitoring and management of traffic are given. The description of several variants of architectural decisions for the implementation of required functionality is also presented.
