Performance testing tool Picus is designed to be an extensible platform for various kinds of performance testing for different environments. The article describes reasons of its creation, briefly overviews its architecture emphasizing its extension capabilities. Experience got in real projects where the tool was used is summarized and prospective development directions are outlined.
