The work contains the investigation of the heat Exchange intensification and optimization process in pipes containing threaded expanding. To optimize the geometric parameters of the expanding, the target function Re= const has been selected. The task parameter is the number Re. The pipes with twofold threaded-shaped beading were investigated. The area of a non- dimensional beading step and the Re number was searched , within which the intensification is rational, i.e., the convective heat increase leads the hydraulic resistance increase. The investigation results are reflected in the graphical form showing the influence of the Re number and bead step of threaded pipe upon the convective heat and hydraulic resistence.
