During the process of work was analized composition of different detergents (laundry and dishwashing detergents) and composition of cosmetics to find out what kind of chemical compounds are in cosmetics used for daily needs (also in the stuff of personal hygiene and body care) and to which degree of hazardous (corresponding to EU Guidelines for Hazardous Substances 67/548/EEC) do used chemical correspond. Contractions in use of terms “natural” were analysed. Cosmetics and perfumery marked as “natural”, often contain dyestuff, fragrance materials, stabilizators and other chemicals, that are not natural. The results obtained in the research indicate high proportion of chemical compounds in detergents and cosmetics used for daily needs and its high degree of health risk.
