Problems in the Validation of the Methods for Determination of the Environmental Pollution

“In-house” methods for determination various pollutants in soil and water have been developed and validated by the Environmental Pollution Laboratory of Riga Technical University. The selectivity, range, linearity, sensitivity, detection limit, quantification limit, ruggedness (matrix and external effects), repeatability, reproducibility, method error and uncertainly have been determined for each “in-house”, non-standard or modified standard method.
