Darbā analizēta skaitlisko metožu mācīšanas metode, kas tiek pielietota studentu apmācīšanai Rīgas Tehniskās Universitātes Datorzinātnes un Informācijas Tehnoloģiju fakultātē. Metode ietver lekcijas, kas tiek lasītas tradicionālā veidā un laboratorijas darbus, kuros studenti ar datorprogrammas "Mathematica" palīdzību izpēta lekcijās apskatītos jautājumus.
