The objective of the thesis was to develop suggestions for improvements in organization of safe operation of the electrical equipment. The basic requirements for operating the electrical equipment safely were evaluated.Conducted researched on the regulatory documents, which regulate how to operate electrical equipment safely; provided recommendations to develop them further. It is proposed to develop new regulations of Cabinet of Ministers and establish five electrical safety groups to develop unified principles for assignment of electrical safety groups in electrical equipment up to 1000V and above 1000V.
