In paper the mathematical model of economic estimation for modernization measures of the high-voltage transformer equipment are given. The replacement of high-voltage bushings is considered as the modernization measure. This task is solved under the conditions of a deficit of the investments in Latvian Power Company. The total annual discounted costs for whole transformer life cycle are the objective function for an estimation of modernization measures
