Lightweight Concrete for Bridge Construction

This article presents investigations results for development of light weught aggregate concrete for bridge constructions. Corresponding light weight aggregates was selected and its properties are determined. On the base of calculated mix compositions, concrete samples are made and tested. High strength light weight concrete composition is elaborated. It is characterized by high physical and mechanical properties and good durability. The examples of light weight concrete practical application for bridge constructions are observed.
