Optimisation of design methods of bridge structures require improve the methods of structural analysis and increase the safety of obtained results. The adjustment of the stresses in the cable-stays could be used for increasing of stresses in the span structure of the cable-stay bridges. The paper describes the analytical study of influence of span structure and stay-cable properties on deflections and stresses in structural elements.
