Within the ENCERB project it was expected to find out in what manner it would be better to rate gas and electricity consumption in order to take into account all factors affecting the usage of these resources and on the basis of these conclusions to develop a new energy consumption rating scale. The intended result of the project was to modify the existing energy consumption control system and the integrated energy control system as required by the Directive 2002/91/EC (of 16 December, 2002) of the European Parliament and of the Council on the energy performance of buildings. It was expected to develop the system of energy certification of buildings considering also CO2 equivalent.
