This article explains terms of service and e-service. The e-service classification possibilities are inspected and there are some simple and more complex e-services for municipalities, there are defined requirements what are necessary to create such e-services. There is some analysis of abilities of municipalities to provide such eservices. The most important of all requirements is existence of adequate information system and their accurate usage. This article analyzes warranty of municipality with necessary information systems to provide adequate functions. In conclusion there is described existing e-service information system of municipailty; enumerated and analyzed the main problems of creation and usage of such information systems and also some solutions are provided.
