Synchronization of data streams has a significant impact on performance of systems where processing of long sequences of data items needs to be done simultaneously. Internal mechanisms (buffers, semaphores, mutually closing blocks etc.) of Data Stream Management Systems (DSMS) are usually used for attaining the synchronization. So the purpose of this paper is to present the alternative synchronization approach for Data Stream Management Systems. The developed concept is based on achievements of digital steganography in data embedding for bit streams. Looking practically, new approach is effective in cases of need to keep, transmit and process different information stream set, strongly taking into account streams’ mutual relations. Author’s approach allows increase security of stream too.
