Human microclimate is an important factor in maintaining of optimal capacity for work and feeling of comfort. High heat conditions may cause health problems, as well as psychiatric problems, which can lead not only to the reduction in quality of work, but also to the human vital organ dysfunction. Smart clothes with integrated cooling system is one of the way to regulate the microclimate. Such a garment manufacturing process have to provide a small garment weight, durability and safety, operational efficiency, minimal current flow, clothing comfort, air and vapor permeability and low production costs. Manufacturing of smart clothes with integrated microclimate control system request for the research process to optimize the cooling function. Experiments with a thermoelectric module - Peltier element - and materials of copper, bronze and steel in different thread thickness and density, as well as copper foil, it is observed, that the copper foil provides the necessary heat removal, while the copper gauze, which by its structure and properties would be more suitable for the integration in clothing, produce insufficient results. It is required to think in future about cooling material system, which do not reduce clothing requirements to be met and the functions, while ensuring effective regulation of the microclimate with Peltier element.
