The last 30 to 40 years marks a major urban development and urbanization trends around the world, because this period includes the period during which a large part of the world population about their location is chosen the city over the countryside. Today, more than 50 percent of the planet's 6.78 billion people have chosen to live in towns and cities than in villages and rural areas.
