Economic processes in the world at the end of the first decade of the 20th century marks a new trend of accelerated development occurring after the recession, which compares with the great depression of the 20th century 30s. It led to serious socio-economic and political consequences throughout the world, including Europe and also in Latvia. Therefore clearly be understood in the previous stage of development factors in their own territory, and the world at large. A very important factor is the consolidation of Latvian residents in improving the socio-economic status. Of course, according to a new situation has improved economic structure. Development of the economic structure should shift the focus of our national resources (land, forests and waters) optimal and efficient use, and favourable geopolitical situation, of course, not forgetting that it is necessary for all parties in interest.
