Development of global economy foresees heavy usage of renewable natural resources nowadays. The main requirement for the usage is comprehensive decrease of environment pollution. Natural limitations on the usage of renewable natural resources require reconsidering politics’ and power industry specialists’ points of view according to application of nuclear power in many countries all over the world. In the given work there are looked out perspectives of atomic power development in Latvia and Baltic region.
