Co-firing is a combustion process when two fuels are burned together: usually renewable resource, like wood biomass, and fossil fuel, for example, coal or natural gas. The aim of the master thesis is to gain experimental data which prove that co-firing is more effective and environmentally friendly combustion process, compared to combustion process where wood pellets are burned without gaseous fossil fuel supply.
