Problem of Optimal Spatial Arrangement of Service Stations
Third International Conference on Accelerated Life Testing, Reliability-based Analysis and Design 2010
Andrejs Kašurins

A problem of service station arrangement in spatial space is considered. It is necessary to place the predefined number of stations, to minimise transport expenses (loss function). For the optimization the gradient and Quasi-Newton methods are used. Numerous experiments allowed evaluating their efficiency.
