The goal of this work was the evaluation of effectiveness of cistern wagon repair welding in the zone of tank mounting to the backbone frame of cistern wagon. The non qualitative repair welds are revealed. The recommendations for increasing of the strength of cistern wagon in mentioned zones and for more qualitative repair welding are offered.
