Metrology and Accreditation National Agency of Latvian National Accreditation Bureau (LATAK) March 24, 2009, Decision No. 35/2009 marks the beginning of new professional certification - the Latvian Association of Power Engineers and Energy Constructors (LEEA) Specialist Certification Centre (SpecSC). Before the Latvian Association of Power Engineers (LEB) and the Latvian Association Constructors (LEBA) consolidation, creating LEEA, functioned for two specialist Certification institutions: Certification Office (at the LEB) and Certification Center (at LEBA). Almost two years since the union consolidation are gone. This time made possible by establishing SpecSC, keep the best of both previous experience in the certification authority.
