Role of the Social Sphere in the Promotion of Competitivenes of Latvia's Regions

The assessment of the state regions' competitiveness in Latvia is one of the most topical problems. Nowadays, there are 2 acute social problems within the regions: first, the insufficient number of social workers; and second, their educational stand. The conclusion is that the lower is the educational level of social workers, the worse is the competitiveness of those regions.
