A number of important tasks arising in the
process of controlling the modes of power systems are
solved by means of software simulating their behaviour.
In particular it is necessary to simulate the operation of
the system, considering the effect on the system
exercised by anti-emergency automation devices,
whereof one important type are the automatic devices
for prevention and elimination of asynchronous
operation . When simulating the operation of these
devices, it is advisable to make simplifications that
ensure acceptable expenses for calculations and
preparation thereof. At the same time, it is necessary to
ensure a sufficient accuracy of simulation. Now, the task
of verificating the model (i.e. evaluating its degree of
suitability) to be used appears. The present paper is
dedicated to this task.
