The aim of this work is to reduce stresses (at the working and emergences loadings) in the frame of the tank car selected strengthening elements with optimum forms and geometry. For these purpose following tasks were solved: the train motion was analyzed, as well as different motion regimes; the stresses in the frame was discovered and analyzed; the different strengthening elements were offered and the optimal variant was selected.
