In this work, it is proposed a new method for the shape optimization of construction elements by metamodels using global and local approximation technique. The method is based on using the commercial CAD software as well as the original code EDAOpt developed in RTU for design of experiments, approximation and optimization. The method is discussed on test examples. Obtained results show that developed method is effective and decreases necessary computation resources. The method has perspectives for future development.
