The synopsis of the lectures is meant for full and part-time training students of the subjects “Electric drive control and regulation” and “Electric drive control” and “Mechatronics”. The synopsis of the lectures deals with circuitry drawing rules in accordance with the Latvian national standards. It gives the characteristics of the elements of electric drive automatic control systems, the standard control schemes, the relay schemes for structural composition, the transition to contactless logic circuits. It investigates the operating principles of closed automatic control systems, the systems for motors’ speed stabilization, the converters with semiconductor elements, the electric drive parametric sub-regulation systems, the elementary theory of the tracking systems.
