Formation of a Person’s Successfullness in the Process of Purposeful Life Activities

There are many successful, well-known in society and popular people, who have made a brilliant career and become famous. Their work, values, knowledge, sense of life and attitude towards life are a stimulating and inspiring sample for those who have also outlined high goals for themselves and search for the ways to achieve them. The experience, statements and recommendations of successful people are an essential informative material on the basis of which the purposefully structured plan of pedagogical working process can be made as well as methodology for encouraging success can be worked out. 96 highly successful people were interviewed during an empirical research and their social notions about successfulness were gained. Factors promoting and hindering success have been analyzed, as a result the socially psychological model — portray of successfulness has been elaborated as well as the conception of successfulness. Estimating the impact of purposefulness on successfulness, effective work and formation of a successful career, the author provides a structural model of formation of a pupil’s purposefulness in her article. It gives the scheme of a way a pupil can become a successful person if he is aware of his goals and is ready for action both in a psychological and practical way, as well as if more appropriate means have been used and incessant analysis of his own work and self-regulation have been made to achieve settled goals. Promoting the formation of purposefulness in each youngster in the framework of pedagogical process at school helps to encourage their successfulness in life activities as well as to accomplish the educational goals which are aimed at forming competitiveness and independent personality in an integrated society, meanwhile preserving their culture, values and autonomy.
