In the thesis the active creep and fatigue behaviour of the mandible compact bone material were investigated and mathematical models of jaw were made. To investigate the biomechanical behaviour of bone tissue in case of bone fractures in terms of load transfer and stain and stress distribution in the bone/fixation system, finite element model of the fractured mandible was developed.
