The paper studies the problems of e-learning systems’ visual design. The requirements of good visual design are considered. The evaluating criteria as well as deciding principles in the process of choosing the right criteria are described. The results of some e-learning systems’ visual design evaluation are presented. On the basis of one system a comprehensive evaluating process is being shown
